In the middle of September 2004 we opened the Montessori Club for Children. The Club is a place of fun and learning for children over 2 years. The youngest children thanks to staying in the Club can introduce to working in group with other children and prepare to the independence in the preschool.

In June 2005 the Club is going to be moved to the new location which will be only for our needs. In that place will be also situated the Independent Montessori Preschool for children over 3 years.

In creating both the Club and the Preschool we are supported and patronized by Małopolskie Towarzystwo Oświatowe with the head office in Nowy Sącz.

Our program is based on the methods of working with children created by Maria Montessori and the program realised by Educational Society of Małopolska (MTO). Our aim is to create optimal conditions for a child to grow and develop. Our goal is to cultivate children's innate joy and curiosity about their environment and natural openness to the world, other cultures and people. We stress the importance of personality development that goes along with autonomy, self-respect and respect for other children, as well as adults. In that sense, we follow the beliefs promoted and practiced by Janusz Korczak.

The curriculum is based on the Montessori philosophy. Our motto is "We open the door to the world". We will strive to show the child beauty and diversity by encouraging his or her natural inclinations. Our children will explore the world. We intend to travel with them through continents, cultures and religions. By presenting to them the world, they will become more sensitive to their surroundings. We believe there will be a place for every child in our Independent MONTESSORI Preschool.

CHILDREN

Preschool

• we admit children between 3 and 6 years
• children are in the age mixed group but there is an informal division for younger and older children

TIMETABLE

The Preschool is working from Monday to Friday between 7.30 and 18.00 with the exception of days free of work and days fixed with parents in advance.

The Club is working from Monday to Friday between 8.30 - 14.30 with the exception of days free of work and days fixed with parents in advance.

CLASSES

Within the confines of tuition we assure:

• working with children by methods created
  by Maria Montessori
• English classes - 2 hours a week and everyday
  contact with the language (songs and games)
• speech therapist's classes - once a week, in order to make children more sensitive to speech sounds, improve efficient work of speech organs, prepare for reading lessons. For those with essential delay in speech progress the individual therapy is possible.
• Psychological consultation - in the case of affirming some deficits we offer the possibility of specialist's help
• Accident insurance

Classes extra paid:

• art classes
• active classes (rhythmics,
  corrective gymnastic or dance)
• second foreign language
• others with the parent's suggestion

PAYMENT

Preschool:

• Entrance fee (single payment when enrolling
  a child at a preschool) - equivalent of one tuition
• Tuition fee (payment to 5 th every month) - 450,00 zł, paid for 12 months with the possibility of submitted
  one-month break in advance
• Payment for food (daily rate) - dinner + tea meal
  + drinks during the day (the amount will be establish
  until the end of May 2005)
• Payment for extra classes - 70-100zł for semester depending on type of classes.

Siblings have 10% off for entrance fee.
